Congressman Cline’s concern about preventing peanut allergies in children who depend on the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) would be more credible if he hadn’t voted last October to shut down the federal government and cut off funding to WIC and the millions who need it– including four of 10 infants in the US.
The shutdown vote failed.
