Raising taxes on workers? Reckless waste?

Congressman Cline’s latest post on his campaign Facebook page:

Let’s lay aside for now the question of whether the tens of billions of dollars spent so far on Trump’s unwinnable war in Iran (which Cline supports) is a “reckless waste of your tax dollars.”

The only recent increase in taxes on working class families is Trump’s tariffs, which these families have to pay in higher prices– something else Cline supports.

    Thanks so much for keeping me on your Cline Watch email list!

    I had the opportunity to meet Beth Macy on Monday, and really hope she will win! As one of my friends up here in Rockingham County says, all we need is 11% more of the vote.

    When I mentioned to Beth that I had been active in LexRockBV Dems when Steve and I lived in Rockbridge County and that I knew you, she was most complimentary of your Cline Watch work. She also mentioned that your profession was in journalism, something I didn’t know before. If you don’t mind my asking, where were you working as a journalist, and what publication did you work for?
