Abdul El-Sayed, the Democratic candidate for Senate in Michigan, should have nothing to do with Hassan Piker– just as Ben Cline should have nothing to do with Donald Trump.
But that doesn’t entitle Congressman Cline to post lies like this.
Cline is free to disagree with El-Sayed all he wants. But he is not free to smear him as “a socialist who hates America.”
El-Sayed has stated, “When it comes to the question of socialism, I’m not a socialist. I’m just a capitalist who understands how capitalism works.”
As the son of Egyptian immigrants, he has said,”I love America. Yeah. I know exactly what America did for me. Yeah. I saw it with a front row seat to what my life should have been but for America. But I love America enough to understand that America ought to be America for all of her children.”
Cline should delete his libelous post.
